Meeting with Roger Gale MP and a chance to address the members of
the "All Party Animal Welfare
Committee"
If this meeting goes well, it is hoped that the question of Greyhound Subsidies will be raised on the floor of the House Of Commons by Mr. Gale. |

The door of opportunity hopefully will open when the meeting of "The Greyhound Forum" in Dublin is scheduled for this month. It is hoped that with the inclusion of R.A.G.S. there will be closer links forged with other Welfare and Rescue Organisations who are tackling the ever growing problem of the over production of the greyhound breed. |

This month will mark the final days of campaigning. If however there
are still petitions arriving, we will then endeavour to collect for as long
as possible. We will then embark on a visit to Brussels to present the completed
petitions to the President of The European Parliament. We will then see if
our work has all been in vain.
